Ok, so it's been a while since I have blogged. So much has happened since my last one. We bought a house, remodled the house (the best we could with time & funds), moved into the house, etc.
Our house is WONDERFUL. It sits on a very large lot filled with tree's, flowers, etc. The backyard is like an orchard. We have 2 cherry tree's, 2 green apple tree's, 1 red apple tree, 1 pear tree, and grape vines. My favorite tree is in the front yard...and it is the beautiful old magnolia tree. It got damaged in the ice storm in January, and we have yet to be able to get up in it and cut the dead out, but even with all the dead in it...it is gorgeous! We have had our hands full with trying to keep up with all of this as well as the inside of our house and our full time jobs...but we do it together and enjoy every second of it. Our back yard leads into my Grandma & Grandpa Lawson's backyard, which leads into my Uncle Anthony & Aunt Tina's backyard. Oh how I love living so close to my realatives. My Grandpa comes over and mows our grass every week and we are very thankful for that.
Eric's company lost their contract with Suburban Hospital, so as of June 2nd he will be jobless. But the Lord saw us through this lay off from the moment we found out. Eric was offered a job by Jewish hospital last week that will start the middle of June. He is lucky enough to get to stay home for a few weeks, and I hope he spends part of those 2 weeks putting up a privacy fence so we can get away from our very annoying neightbors.
Speaking of our annoying neighbors...they are awful. We were only in the house 3 days before we got the police called on us for walking our dog "too close" to their yard. Not in their yard...just too close. RIDICULOUS! They walk around trying to stir up trouble every single day. A few weeks ago I decided that their house was going to be our Jerricho. I began to walk around their property (without stepping a foot on their property) 1 time a day for 6 days, and then 7 times the 7th day. The whole time I walked I prayed and asked the Lord to bless them with a peice of property & house out in the middle of the country away from me & my family! I know God is going to bless my effots!
I just joined Scentsy. Scentsy is a flameless, wickless candle company. There are over 80 scents and they are all wonderful. You can see more about the product at www.scentsy.com/lucijameson. My goal is to be making what I make at my job by the end of the year so I can be a stay at home wife.
Welp, that is about all that has happened in the Jameson household these last few months. I hope to write again soon!
